ZR series Emerson compressors have few moving parts, axial and radial Copeland design provides unprecedented liquid shock resistance, secondly, ZR series Copeland compressors have built-in motor short-circuit device that can effectively protect the motor from high temperature current damage, low noise/low exhaust pulse, and the noise value of ZR series wheel compressors is more than 5 decibels lower than that of piston compressors.

The ZR Series Copeland compressors feature a simplified system design, unloadable start-up technology, no additional start-up device, no crankcase heater and gas-liquid separator in most applications, and nearly 100% volumetric efficiency for long heating capacity.

Copeland scroll ZB refrigeration compressors have a dual flexible design that ensures a tight seal between the scroll plates. Allowing the scroll disc to be separated radially and axially, debris or liquid can pass through the scroll plate without damaging the compressor, it has high strength DU bearings of space-age materials, porous permeability, transparent bronze and PTFE coating, and it also has unloading start technology, the compression parts are separated from each other after shutdown, and the pressure inside the compressor is fully equalized, without the need for additional starting devices.
